Mini-trimester course

This course allows the participants to attend 5 sessions of their choice throughout a trimester. The participants will explore hand-building techniques, such as slab building, coiling and pinching as well as working with moulds. Additionally, we will work with various decoration and surface treatment techniques such as underglazes, slips and sgraffito. The process will be completed with glazing techniques like dipping and brushing.

To achieve optimal results, participants are encouraged to select the first or second set of 5 consecutive sessions within the proposed dates of the trimester when booking. This approach allows them to follow the studio's proposed curriculum and to work on their projects while the clay remains sufficiently moist. However, if this is not feasible, participants may select the 5 dates that best suit their availability within the trimester when booking the sessions.

    • 1st trimester:

      from 15-16/09/24 to 24-25/11/24

      (no session on November 10 and 11)

    • 2nd trimester:

      from 12-13/01/25 to 16-17/03/25

    • 3rd trimester:

      from 30-31/03/25 to 22-23/06/25

      (no session on April 20, 21, 27 and 28 and June 8 and 9)

    • Sunday evening, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

    • Monday evening, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

    • Suitable for all levels, from 16 years old

    • Follow a curriculum or work on your personal project

    • Storage space designated for each participant

    • Materials provided: slips, glazes, clay and firings

    • Teaching in English, French and Persian

    • Participation in a collective exhibition at Blue Room Studio’s showroom at the end of the course (optional)

    • Possibility of payment in 3 installments

  • Please bring an apron, blouse or suitable clothing.

    It is best to have short nails.

  • Once per trimester, in the event of a planned absence, and if notified at least 10 days in advance, a make-up opportunity may be offered in another course, within the limit of available places and in the same trimester (no refund is possible).

  • If cancelled by client:

    More than 30 days before the start of the course:

    • Postponement of the course within 6 months following the initial start date of the course by notifying Blue Room Studio

    Less than 30 days before the start date of the course:

    • No cancellation is possible

    • The course can be offered to a third person by notifying Blue Room Studio

    If cancelled by Blue Room Studio:

    • Complete refund

    or

    • Postponement of the date according to client's wishes within the availability of the courses offered by Blue Room Studio
